How much does a typical website cost?

Website design prices start at £500 for a pre-developed website platform and theme customised to your requirements. This package is designed to help start-up businesses and those who don’t yet have a website quickly gain an effective online presence without a huge investment. (more information)
Websites for SME’s
Website design prices start at £800 and include the features outlined above but with an increased number of pages and extra functionality. This package also includes a WordPress blog and CMS (Content Management System) allowing you to easily add articles and pages.
eCommerce Websites with Admin Area
Website design prices start at £1,200 for a full eCommerce website with a shopping cart to take payments online. By combining an expert team with the very best open source applications, I can offer a complete eCommerce solution which includes a user-friendly website admin area that will allow you to input your own stock, change prices and much more.
Websites Maintenance and Management
A lot of clients don’t have time to update and manage their website so I offer a monthly management service to help facilitate this. Prices start at just £25 per month and can include text and image updates; added pages or blog posts, subscription based email newsletters and search engine optimisation.
Hourly Charges and Day Rates
I charge an hourly rate of £35 (£280 daily) as an independent website designer and consultant, where my knowledge and experience is required to help deliver effective solutions.
