Hello, I’m Andrew Wearden and in my spare time I love helping businesses of all sizes boost their online visibility and credibility though digital marketing.
I started to create websites for a living back in 2003 and in 2010 I joined a creative design agency based in Macclesfield, where I had hoped to expand my skills. Unfortunately the move proved ineffectual so I decided to return to Buxton as a freelance website designer and WordPress consultant.
I work alongside a collaborative network of independent professionals who’s specialities include; WordPress, HTML5/CSS3, Web development and Email marketing.
That doesn’t make me a geek though…I’m a sociable person with a great sense of humour and even though I have to work long hours sometimes I do keep myself active by running. As well as running I like doing all sort of things in my spare time; Watching sports…especially football and F1, cooking, eating out, drinking and socialising with friends. I’m an active member of Buxton Athletic Club and lead their Target 5K Beginners Running Group, which is aimed at complete beginners with little or no running experience, or those who wish to get back into running after a long period away from the sport.

Last Saturday saw me take on my first ever ‘Ultra’ ..The High Peak 40 Mile Challenge, something I’d had an ambition to do since helping on one of the check points (CP) back in 2014. Here’s my review of this arduous race… I arrived at the registration/finish way earlier than I should have done, got […]
I’m not very tall and I don’t really have the looks or body type to be a model, so imagine my delight when I got to ‘model’ and test some revolutionary high performance men’s athletic underwear whilst doing the thing that actually like – running.
